Helping all people become fully devoted followers of Jesus
Between now and 2025, we are committed to taking intentional steps forward in five strategic areas. We believe that this focus will help us to make a strong gospel impact on our city and world, for the glory of God.
We aspire to live out the gospel by addressing spiritual and physical needs of people in our local community and around the world. We are convicted that advancing the mission of Jesus isn’t reserved for pastors or paid church staff, but is the responsibility of every follower of Jesus. We aspire to be united in purpose by living together on mission, everyone, everywhere, all the time!
OUR DREAM
Every person in our churuch family takes responsibility for advancing the mission of jesus, living as missionaries in their local comunities, and going overseas as they are called by God.
An overwhelming number of people commit their lives to Jesus and get baptized.
We generously care for the poor in our local community and through our global partners.
We embrace practices that help us know and become like Jesus. We aspire to develop fully devoted followers of Jesus who have a robust biblical worldview, and who desire to follow Him in the everyday, ordinary stuff of life.
OUR DREAM
Every person who attends our church regularly engage in practices that form them into the image of Jesus.
People of CA Church look more like Jesus every day of the year.
We are in a relationship with a person, not a set of ideas. We pursue intimacy with Christ and believe that we are transformed through an abiding relationship with Him. We believe that the only hope for true, lasting gospel fruit is through the power of the Holy Spirit and so we strive to posture our hearts to be led by Him.
OUR DREAM
Each time we gather, people experience the tangible presence of Jesus in our worship services and small groups.
People of all ages who attend CA Church have an abiding relationship with Christ in their day-to-day lives.
We give sacrificially on a personal and corporate level to advance the mission of God locally and around the world. This includes our time, talent, and treasure. As a people, we recognize the gifts we have received through the extravagant generosity of God, and as a result, we give extravagantly to others.
OUR DREAM
Generosity is a lifestyle for everyone who attends CA Church.
Our personal and corporate generosity increases every year, in order to meet the growing practical needs of those in our local community and around the world.
We pay off our building debt so that we can forcefully advance the mission of our church and accomplish all that God has placed on our hearts to do.
We take Jesus’ command seriously when He calls us to be disciples. In order to achieve this, we are committed to the multiplication of leaders, campuses, and Community Groups—creating opportunities for deep discipleship to happen. We pray that the Lord uses our efforts to help all people become fully devoted followers of Jesus.
OUR DREAM
Our Church regularly plants new churches and campuses in the Lower Mainland and overseas through global partnerships.
