Over a number of weeks, people with different questions, experiences, and beliefs come together to watch engaging videos—looking at different aspects of the Christian faith—and have an open conversation over a shared meal.
Everyone is welcome and every person’s perspective is valued!

At Alpha, our goal is to create an atmosphere of welcome and hospitality. We do this by forming a safe space for honest dialogue where all people will be treated with grace and respect.
And we need your help to do it! We want you to serve in a way that best suits your passions and gifts so we have lots of different areas that you can serve in: greeting, set-up and tear-down, child care, kitchen, tech, table hosts, and prayer.
Regardless of where you serve at Alpha, each role is just as important and valuable as the next. If you want to display the love of Jesus in one of these ways, join the Alpha Team!

The Alpha course is designed primarily for people who aren’t churchgoers. It attracts a diverse range of guests, including people of different ages and backgrounds, all with differing viewpoints. Churchgoers are welcome to attend with any guests they invite.

Food: We share a meal together prepared by our team.
Video: We watch an engaging 25-30 minute video that explores one of the big issues surrounding faith. These topics address questions like Who is Jesus? How and why should we pray? and Does God heal today?
Conversation: Next share our thoughts on the video topic in our small groups. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s also nothing you cannot say (seriously). This is an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.

The Alpha course aims to be a low-pressure and non-threatening experience. If you don’t feel that the course is for you, you are under no obligation to return and we will not contact you unless you’ve indicated to your group host otherwise.
