Women's Events
Speaker Series
We are excited to announce that we'll be providing a Women's Speaker Series once a month on Saturday mornings from January to May! Many women aren't available during the weekdays and we wanted to be able to provide an opportunity for good teaching and connection for all women at CAC and beyond.
All of us desire to become the women God has created us & is calling us to be - the kind of woman described in Proverbs 31. Each series will focus on a different aspect of the Proverbs 31 woman. The five sessions from January to May will encourage us to watch our words as we're exhorted to in Proverbs 31:26 - "She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue."
Here are the dates & topics scheduled. Mark your calendars now & plan to invite a friend, relative, co-worker, school mom or neighbour!

Feb. 16 - Gossip Girls: Words that Wound - Jan Hart

Food is one area a lot of women struggle with. We as women tend to be emotional eaters (or non-eaters). And there is so much information (and misinformation) out there about food – it’s hard to keep it all straight. Come hear about how to navigate the confusing world of nutrition information and make healthy food choices for us and our families.
