The Parenting Teenagers Course 
May 19-June 16: The Alpha Parenting Teens Course (teens from 11-18)
11am-12:30pm at CAC (Mariner Campus) in Portable 2

Alpha Parenting is perfect for anyone who wants to learn how to effectively build a strong and healthy relationship with children, this includes, but is not limited to, parents, grandparents, and care givers. This course will teach you how to build a strong family that centers around love, how to meet your children’s needs while setting effective boundaries for them, how to teach  them about healthy relationships, and advice on how to pass on values that are important to you. While this course is based around Christian principles, it is designed for parents and caregivers with or without the Christian faith.

Without a doubt, the best case for Christianity is the life of Jesus. What really happened back in the first century, in Jerusalem and around the Sea of Galilee, that changed the shape of world history? Who is this figure that emerges from history to have a profound impact on culture, ethics, politics, and philosophy? Join historian John Dickson on this journey through the life of Jesus.

Throughout history, God has used revival to build and renew His church. This class will analyze what revivals actually look like, how they occurred in the past, where they are occurring throughout the world today, and what we can do to prepare for revival in our own culture today.

The Voice of Jesus 
Friday, June 14 from 7-9pm
Saturday, June 15 from 9:30am-3pm
Speaker: Dr. Gordon T. Smith
Cost: $20 ($25 at the door)

A weekend seminar to explore what it means to attend to and recognize the voice of Jesus in our prayer and in the daily routine of work and relationships. This will highlight both the ambiguity and challenge of listening to God and the wonder and grace that comes when we are able to know the voice of Jesus. In particular, the seminar will include a practical model for knowing the call of God in the critical decisions of life and work.

​Discipleship Essentials
We grow in Christ as we seek him together. Jesus' own pattern of disciple-making was to be intimately involved with others and allow life to rub against life. Discipleship Essentials is designed for groups of 3 or 4 to meet together regularly and intentionally take steps to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

Each week contains the following elements:
- a core truth presented in a question-answer format
- a memory verse and accompanying study
- a field-tested inductive Bible study
- a reading on the theme for the week
- questions to draw out key principles in the reading
