The Women's Ministry at Coquitlam Alliance Church has a passion for women at the Mariner campus, The Port campus and the surrounding community. The goal of the Women's Ministry is to create an environment that encourages spiritual growth, the creation and building of friendships and community,  and the opportunity to experience mutual support and encouragement as we travel together along life's journey.  God created us for community - to serve, to love, and to support one another.

Committed leadership and volunteers help to provide safe, loving environments where women of all ages, from all stages, and all walks of life are welcomed and nurtured.  Our mission is to help more women become seekers and believers and fully devoted followers of Jesus.

To help realize this vision, activities, events, groups and bible study classes will be offered throughout the year.

Food is one area a lot of women struggle with.  We as women tend to be emotional eaters (or non-eaters).  And there is so much information (and misinformation) out there about food – it’s hard to keep it all straight.  Come hear about how to navigate the confusing world of nutrition information and make healthy food choices for us and our families. Sign up HERE.

Women's Discovery Groups

WOMEN'S DISCOVERY GROUPS
exist so women of all ages, all life stages, and all walks of life can build friendships, experience mutual encouragement, support each other along the journey of life, and have the opportunity to discover and learn more about God's Word and how to apply it to their lives. The small group format of the Discovery Groups provides a safe place for women to study the Bible and to learn more about themselves, which in turn fosters their spiritual growth.  It is our prayer that lives will be changed by learning more about the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and by connecting with a community of Christian women.

After reading through the studies, you can sign up below, by phone or at info@cachurch.ca.  Payment can be made the first day of classes, when the book(s) will be available.

Morning Discovery Group (Tuesdays 9:15 - 11:30am)
Evening Discovery Group (Tuesdays 7:00 - 9:00pm)

Spring 2013 Study: April 9 - May 7 (Morning and Evening)

One Thousand Gifts by  Ann Voskamp

Join us for a 5 week look at how to find and live in joy in the midst of difficulty through thankfulness. This study is an exhortation to live out 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18: "Be joyful always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."  It's about slowing down & seeing God & the gifts He gives us every day so we can cultivate a heart of thanksgiving which can help us to have joy in the midst of trials. Sign up HERE.

Study Guide: $10; Book (optional): $10
